Vilnius residents are already heading to the terraces: here’s where to have lunch or dinner in the warmer months

15 May, 2026

As the weather warms up, the areas along the banks of the Neris become one of the capital’s main attractions. Concerts, festivals, sporting events and city celebrations take place here, and at weekends the area fills with the bustle of Vilnius residents. This year, one of the season’s most prominent events – the pink soup festival “Vilnius Pink Soup Fest” is moving to the banks of the Neris, near the Shopping Centre CUP, and will further establish this part of the city as one of the main summer meeting places and leisure spots in Vilnius.

Located on the right bank of the Neris, the Shopping Centre CUP invites you this season to discover the outdoor terraces of its restaurants and cafés, perfect for a range of occasions – from morning coffee to dinner in the city centre. The terraces are situated next to the capital’s liveliest areas, so visitors can easily combine relaxation, delicious food and the city’s summer atmosphere.

New terrace on the roof of the Shopping Centre CUP

One of the most notable new additions in Vilnius city centre this season is the “Rooftop Guacamole” terrace on the roof of the Shopping Centre CUP. The new space invites you to enjoy Mexican cuisine and panoramic views of the Old Town from the sixth floor of the shopping centre.

From morning coffee to freshly baked croissants

The terraces on the ground floor of the Shopping Centre CUP are designed for everyday city stops – morning coffee, lunch or quick meetings during the day. “Caif café", “Subway”, “Sūrio Džiugas namai” and “Crustum”, all located here, offer a variety of flavours and formats.
