The shopping centre in an exceptional location: designed with convenience for shoppers and well-being in mind
Sustainability is just as important for a modern city's retail business as it is for the people who live here. Healthy living and the future of the planet are on everyone's mind today. The CUP Shopping Centre in the heart of Vilnius, next to the River Neris, confirms it with its priorities. It combines everything that is necessary for a good life: an environment that promotes mobility, charging stations for electric cars and repair shops for bicycles, balanced food, flower gardens with edible plants, free fresh drinking water, and, finally, fast shopping.
Shared values between business and customer are the key to a sustainable relationship.
"Today's businesses should nurture the same values that matter to their customers. Otherwise, it would be difficult to talk about the sustainability of the business-customer relationship. We know our audience very well, mostly educated, young people working in the city centre and families living here. They are people who care about sustainability, from environmental protection, rational use of resources, responsible consumption to healthy lifestyles. It is therefore not surprising that the list of our sustainability projects grows longer every year," says Ona Nevinskienė, Head of the CUP Shopping Centre.
