As the pre-Christmas period begins, the CUP shopping centre in Vilnius downtown is counting record visitor flows for 2023. Even compared to the pre-pandemic period, some months have been described as impressive. The growth is accompanied by the return of well-known brands to the CUP business community. The CUP is not only celebrating its business success, but also sharing it with the community by engaging in meaningful social projects.
“While some business performance indicators reflect the negative impact of geopolitical events, we saw record visitor flows in April-September. Compared not only to the last few years, but also to pre-pandemic 2019, the flow indicators show a steady increase. Undoubtedly, these results are largely due to our right strategy, focusing on the expansion of the outdoor terraces, renovating the premises, integrating more and more into the active area of the White Bridge, getting to know our visitors better and responding to their needs,” says Ona Nevinskienė, the manager of the CUP shopping centre.
O. Nevinskienė also points out that the good flow indicators were not adversely affected even by the closure of the Maxima store at the end of April this year for the purpose of renovation, which was closed for almost two months.
The lessees’ trading space increased, “Sportland” and “Triumph” returned.
