Beloved and loving – women of great strength and their children at the “Mamų unija” photography exhibition
On 5 September, the photography exhibition "Beloved – Loving" of the Support and Charity Foundation "Mamų unija" (“Moms’ Union”) was opened on the fourth floor at the CUP Shopping Centre. The photographs show children with cancer and their mothers – sometimes upset, thoughtful, suffering, but inevitably believing, hopeful and loving, according to a press release from the “Moms’ Union”.
CUP Shopping Centre is focused on social responsibility and supporting meaningful initiatives, so it dedicates its space to the social projects of the “Moms’ Union”. With this exhibition, CUP is contributing to the Goldfish Month celebrated by the Foundation in solidarity with children suffering from cancer and their families, and is making a donation of EUR 20,000 in 2023 to support the activities of this Support and Charity Foundation. "This is an incredibly sensitive and heartfelt photography project. We want our visitors to realise that together we are a community united by kindness and understanding, that together we can help someone who needs our help, compassion and support today," states Ona Nevinskienė, the Head of CUP Shopping Centre.
