The Shopping Centre CUP records growth: in 2025, the average basket size increased, and the food and beauty segments strengthened

17 March, 2026

The Shopping Centre CUP, located in the heart of the Central Business District of the Capital, ended 2025 with growth figures – the average annual shopping basket here increased by 6.5 percent. The largest share of sales at the shopping centre was generated by restaurants and cafés, as well as the food, cosmetics and beauty, clothing and pharmaceuticals categories.

According to Ona Nevinskienė, General Manager of the Shopping Centre CUP, the growth in consumption was driven by both a consistent focus on visitors’ needs and the shopping centre’s exceptional location on the right bank of the river Neris.

“We can see that visitors’ habits are changing – the shopping centre is increasingly becoming not just a place to shop, but also part of the city’s daily life. People come here to have lunch, meet up, use services or spend time on beauty treatments. That is why we are consistently strengthening the food, beauty and services segments, which today make up an increasingly important part of the shopping centre’s offering,” says O. Nevinskienė.

The second half of the year was the most successful.

According to the shopping centre’s data, the second half of 2025 was particularly successful – tenant turnover grew by between 4 and 12 percent in different months, as compared to the same period in 2024. The highest footfall is recorded between April and September, when the average monthly number of visitors is around 600,000.
