The Christmas market has begun at the Shopping Centre CUP: from handmade treasures to charity initiatives
This week, the now-traditional Christmas market began at the Shopping Centre CUP in the centre of Vilnius, and will run until 23 December. As every year, creators of unique products located on all floors of the shopping centre will offer visitors original, handmade items, homemade treats and other unique goods that can make for an exceptional gift or a festive table decoration.
“The Christmas Market at the Shopping Centre CUP has already become a lovely tradition of ours and attracts a great deal of attention from visitors every year. This market is not only a great place to choose unique Christmas gifts, but also an opportunity to meet the creators and support small businesses. At the fair, visitors will be able to purchase original handmade textiles, leather goods, food and other products, as well as contribute to charitable causes. It not only creates a festive atmosphere but also reflects the increasingly relevant ideas of sustainability and community spirit. Furthermore, visitors will find a space specially decorated by interior designer Mantas Petruškevičius, inspired by arctic nature, which evokes a true winter fairy tale and creates a special Christmas atmosphere on the 5th floor of the shopping centre, so when visiting the fair, don’t forget to admire the unique decorations,” says Ona Nevinskienė, Manager of the Shopping Centre CUP.
The Christmas train is another special attraction
After visiting the Christmas market, O. Nevinskienė invites visitors to try out another Christmas attraction – a ride on the Christmas train through Vilnius Old Town. This year, it is being offered to Vilnius residents and visitors by the Shopping Centre CUP, which has become the general sponsor of this project. The Christmas train will take passengers around the most beautiful spots of the capital, offering the chance to experience the true joy of a Christmas journey.
