On 4 February, “Vilniaus vorai” installed a net, bringing the total area of camouflage netting they have woven to over 120,000 square metres, or 12 hectares. That’s equivalent to a dozen or so football pitches, and the number of individual nets exceeds 1,600! The net marking the symbolic 12-hectare milestone was completed and taken down by volunteers who gathered that day, which is why there aren’t many of them in the photo. But if we were to try to fit all the volunteers who have contributed to the overall result over the nearly four years of activity of “Vilniaus vorai” into a single photo, we’d probably need a stadium to accommodate them all, and we’d have to take the photo from above using a drone. ‘Vilniaus vorai’ would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the overall result – through their volunteering and financial support. Camouflage nets are in high demand, so the work continues.
