The final of the Jusis Training talent selection programme for children with sporting potential!
The talent selection project for children with sporting potential, initiated by JUSIS Training and implemented in collaboration with partners Shopping Centre CUP and Vilnius City Municipality, has reached the home straight.
During the first stage, the JUSIS Training team conducted athletic tests on more than 300 children in schools across Vilnius. Speed, agility, coordination and overall physical fitness were assessed. These tests are designed to enable the early recognition of innate physical abilities, identify talent and provide opportunities for targeted training.
The fastest and most agile of all participants will gather on 7 March on the 5th floor of the Shopping Centre CUP, where the final round of testing will take place. The 30 children who have won a “Golden Ticket” will compete in the decisive stage, after which the 10 strongest will have the opportunity to train specifically in athletics at the “JUSIS Training” sports club.
This is the first serious step towards big sporting dreams. Early assessment of physical abilities not only helps to identify talent but also supports the child’s safe and purposeful development, aiming for better results in the future.
Perhaps this is where the journey begins for future track and field athletes who will put Lithuania on the world map?
