13th April marks three years since Vilniaus vorai (Vilnius Spiders) started their activities – a few enterprising shooters decided to take on the task of weaving life-saving camouflage nets for Ukrainian defenders. Nowadays a large number of volunteers are working in the spacious premises of the CUP Shopping Centre on the 4th floor, weaving as many as three nets at a time!
In three years, Vilnius Spiders have woven 1227 nets, covering an area of almost 9 hectares. Remarkably, half of that total was made in the third year alone, showing impressive growth and how the community is becoming stronger.
CUP Shopping Centre is proud to support this meaningful initiative and invites volunteers to join in every weekday from 6 pm to 9 pm on the 4th floor.
